CHALLENGE
a heating and cooling company needed a refreshing campaign to stand out in a cluttered market.
idea
by tapping into summertime nostalgia, we created a campaign that actually felt refreshing during kansas city’s hottest months. we made united-branded popsicles, popsicle billboards, and a giant block of ice in the crossroads during august first fridays gave people a reason to stop, smile, and chill.
the popsicle board won at the aiga & was featured on ads of the world instagram page. even the toughest critic kleenex liked it.
we brought a couple 300 pound blocks of ice down to the kc crossroads to help keep our veterans cool. for every photo posted to instagram we donated $10 to the veterans community project. in less than 4 hours we raised over $2500 for kc veterans. click the image to watch the video.
